Comparison review
Google Pixel XL has a general score of 81.3, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5's 77.6 overall score. The Google Pixel XL is a newer cellphone than the Xperia Z5, but it's a little heavier and somewhat thicker. Xperia Z5 has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel XL, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores and an extra graphics processing unit.
Xperia Z5 counts with a bit sharper display than Google Pixel XL, although it has a just a little worse display pixels density, a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a little smaller display. Xperia Z5 takes just a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel XL, and although they both have the same video frame rate, a same size camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger camera aperture to capture better photos in low light environments and a back camera with a lot higher 23 MP resolution.
Google Pixel XL features a better memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. The Google Pixel XL counts with improved battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 19 percent larger battery size.
Although Google Pixel XL is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia Z5. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Sony Xperia Z5, letting go some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
