Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than LG V20, having a 77.6 score against 77. Even though the Sony Xperia Z5 is older than LG V20, it's design is somewhat lighter and a bit thinner. Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better looking display than LG V20, although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, a lot worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a quite smaller display.
The LG V20 features a much greater storage for apps and games than Xperia Z5, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1,95 TB. The Sony Xperia Z5 has a little faster CPU than LG V20, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and more CPU cores.
The Xperia Z5 features a slightly better camera than LG V20, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 also has a back facing camera with a much higher 23 mega-pixels resolution and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
LG V20 has a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG V20, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the LG V20. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Xperia Z5, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the LG V20, giving up a couple features and specifications.
