Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is much better than Xperia Z5, having a global score of 86.5 against 77.6. These phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Even though Galaxy M31 is much newer than the Xperia Z5, it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
Galaxy M31's CPU is very similar to the Xperia Z5 one, because although the Galaxy M31 has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 8 cores, it also counts with more RAM. The Xperia Z5 has a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy M31, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a little higher display pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a superior camera than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same aperture and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a way bigger sensor providing a much higher image quality and a back-facing camera with a lot higher 64 mega pixels resolution.
Galaxy M31 counts with a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
