Comparison review
Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is much better than Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. Galaxy Note9's design is extremely newer, but notably heavier and thicker than the Xperia Z5. Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Note9, although it has a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a bit smaller screen and a bit lower pixel density.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 features much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD extension slot that supports up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Galaxy Note9 features a little faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note9 also counts with 3 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a superior battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Note9, because although it has slower video frame rate and a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a camera in the back with way more mega pixels and a bigger camera sensor shooting better quality photos.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 costs a little more than Xperia Z5, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
