Comparison review

The Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit better than Xperia Z5, with a general score of 79.3 against 77.6. These phones use the same Android 5.1 OS (Operating System), so both of them should offer identical OS features. Even when Galaxy S6 edge+ and the Xperia Z5 were released with only a couple months difference, Galaxy S6 edge+ is a little bit lighter and just a little bit thinner.

Galaxy S6 edge+ features a little more vivid display than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a bit bigger screen, a better 2560 x 1440 resolution and a quite better screen pixels density. Sony Xperia Z5 features a better memory to install games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 200 GB.

The Xperia Z5 counts with a better performing processing unit than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a greater number of cores (although slower) and a graphics processor. Xperia Z5 captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy S6 edge+, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 also has a bigger back camera sensor, a bigger aperture to take better low-light photography and videos and a back camera with a much higher resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a little better battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

The Galaxy S6 edge+ costs a bit more money than the Xperia Z5, but it's still a good choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
