Sony Xperia Z5 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures and/or video in low-light situations, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a back camera with a much better 23 mega pixels resolution and a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality videos and photographs.

Although Sony Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some money and get the Xperia Z5, resigning a couple features and specifications.
