Sony Xperia XZ1 is a just a little heavier cellphone than the Sony Xperia Z5, but both of them have the same thickness. The Sony Xperia XZ1 and Sony Xperia Z5 have extremely similar CPUs, because although the Sony Xperia XZ1 has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, it also counts with more RAM memory.

Both of them have a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a display with the same size and the same 1920 x 1080px resolution. The Xperia Z5 has just a bit better camera than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a same size sensor, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a more mega pixels camera and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures.
