Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ3 is just a bit better than Xperia Z5, with a 79.6 score against 77.6. Both phones in this review have Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ3 has 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version. Sony Xperia XZ3's design is way newer than the Xperia Z5's, although it is extremely thicker and heavier.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a greater screen pixels density, a larger screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 2880. Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a higher amount of RAM.
Sony Xperia Z5 features a slightly better camera than Xperia XZ3, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, a same size sensor and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a higher resolution back-facing camera and a bigger aperture. The Xperia XZ3 counts with a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory.
The Xperia XZ3 has a bit superior battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ3, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Sony Xperia Z5, resigning a couple features and specs.
