Comparison review

The Galaxy S III is a bit better than the Xperia ZR, getting a general score of 70.8 against 65.6. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy S III has 4.1.2 version and Xperia ZR has Android 4.4.4. Even though the Galaxy S III is older than Xperia ZR, it's body is thinner and just a little lighter.

Xperia ZR features a bit better CPU than Galaxy S III, and although they both have a 2 GB RAM memory and a 400 megahertz graphics processing unit, the Xperia ZR also has more processing cores. The Sony Xperia ZR has a little more vivid display than Galaxy S III, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 720 pixels resolution, the Sony Xperia ZR also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density.

Galaxy S III features a much greater storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia ZR, because it has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 64 GB and 16 GB internal storage capacity. The Xperia ZR features just a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S III, because it has a 2300mAh battery capacity.
