These devices have Android OS (operating system), but the HTC Wildfire S has newer 2.3.4 version and T-Mobile Sidekick 4G has Android 2.2, so it offers a couple nice extra features. HTC Wildfire S's design is incredibly lighter and a little bit thinner than the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G.

T-Mobile Sidekick 4G has a brighter display than HTC Wildfire S, because it has a better pixel density, a much higher 800 x 480 pixels resolution and a bit larger display. The T-Mobile Sidekick 4G has a bit better CPU than HTC Wildfire S, although it has a worse graphics processor running at 200 MHz, they both have the same RAM amount and a Single-Core CPU.

The HTC Wildfire S's camera is very similar to the camera in T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, because although the HTC Wildfire S has slower 24 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 720x480 video definition, it also counts with a camera in the back with a much better 5 megapixels resolution.
