Galaxy A12 is much better than the TCL 10 Pro, with an 80.3 score against 72.1. Both of these devices include the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should offer the same OS features. Even though the Galaxy A12 and the TCL 10 Pro were released with only a couple months difference, Galaxy A12's construction is a bit heavier but also just a little bit thinner than the TCL 10 Pro.
The Galaxy A12 counts with a bit more powerful processor than TCL 10 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. TCL 10 Pro features a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy A12, and although they both have a display with the same size, the TCL 10 Pro also has a greater display density and a way higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
The TCL 10 Pro has just a bit bigger storage to store more games and applications than Galaxy A12, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB against 1 TB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Galaxy A12 features a bit longer battery duration than TCL 10 Pro, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 4550mAh.
The TCL 10 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy A12, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better low-light captures and a back facing camera with way more MP.
