Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ1 is just a bit better than the TCL 10 Pro, getting a global score of 78.3 against 72.1. Even though Sony Xperia XZ1 is a lot older than the TCL 10 Pro, it's design is thinner and lighter. TCL 10 Pro has a bit sharper display than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a just a little less pixels per screen inch, it also counts with a larger screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ1 features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than TCL 10 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with just a bit better processing power than TCL 10 Pro, although it has less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The TCL 10 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same video quality, the TCL 10 Pro also has a much more mega-pixels camera, a much larger sensor and a bigger diafragm aperture. TCL 10 Pro features a much better battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4550mAh battery size.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than TCL 10 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the TCL 10 Pro. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia XZ1, otherwise you can save some money and get the TCL 10 Pro, giving up a couple specs and features.
