The Galaxy A8 Star is an extremely older device than the TCL 20 5G, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat thinner and just a little lighter anyway. TCL 20 5G features a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly better 2400 x 1080px resolution, a little more pixels per screen inch and a little bit bigger display. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little better processing power than TCL 20 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
The TCL 20 5G takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the TCL 20 5G also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor and a camera with a way better resolution.
The TCL 20 5G counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The TCL 20 5G features superior battery performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
