Comparison review
Galaxy A8 Star has a score of 82.1, which is much better than TCL 20 5G's score of 73.1. The Galaxy A8 Star is an extremely older device than the TCL 20 5G, but Samsung managed to make it somewhat thinner and just a little lighter anyway. Both phones in this comparison review use Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version and TCL 20 5G has Android 10 version.
TCL 20 5G features a little sharper display than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a slightly better 2400 x 1080px resolution, a little more pixels per screen inch and a little bit bigger display. Galaxy A8 Star counts with a little better processing power than TCL 20 5G. They have a 6 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
The TCL 20 5G takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photos and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the TCL 20 5G also counts with a lot bigger back-facing camera sensor and a camera with a way better resolution.
The TCL 20 5G counts with a quite bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The TCL 20 5G features superior battery performance than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
