Comparison review
Galaxy M31 is much better than the TCL 20 5G, with a score of 86.5 against 73.1. Although the Galaxy M31 is older than TCL 20 5G, it's design is a little lighter and a little thinner. Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31 has a more recent 11 version while TCL 20 5G has Android 10 version, offering some additional features and performance improvements.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit superior CPU than TCL 20 5G. They have 6 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processing unit. Galaxy M31 and TCL 20 5G have incredibly similar screens, because although the Galaxy M31 has a bit lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, less bright screen and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a little greater screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with just a bit better camera than TCL 20 5G, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a larger sensor capturing better quality videos and photographs and a way more megapixels back facing camera.
The TCL 20 5G has a quite bigger storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy M31, because although it has an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 256 GB against 512 GB, it also counts with more internal storage. Galaxy M31 counts with longer battery duration than TCL 20 5G, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
