Comparison review
The Galaxy M31 is much better than the TCL 20 Pro 5G, with an 86.5 score against 76.1. The Galaxy M31 design is a little thinner than TCL 20 Pro 5G, but it is a little heavier and was released only 14 months before. Both phones in this review include the same Android 11 OS (Operating System), so both of them should provide the user very similar OS features.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit better processor than TCL 20 Pro 5G. They have 6 GB of RAM and 8 CPU cores. The Galaxy M31 has a little sharper display than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display.
Samsung Galaxy M31 has a bit better camera than TCL 20 Pro 5G, and although they both have the same video definition, the same video frame rates and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy M31 also has a larger camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photographs and a way better 64 megapixels resolution camera in the back.
TCL 20 Pro 5G has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy M31, because it has 192 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 1 TB. Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with greater battery duration than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4500mAh.
