The Microsoft Surface Duo is just a bit better than vivo NEX 3, getting a 78.8 score against 73.9. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Duo has an older 10 version while vivo NEX 3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Although Microsoft Surface Duo is somewhat heavier than the vivo NEX 3, it's noticeably thinner and also newer.
The Microsoft Surface Duo has a bit more vivid screen than vivo NEX 3, because it has a larger display, a just a bit more pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1800 x 2700. The vivo NEX 3 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The vivo NEX 3 features a little bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Duo, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the vivo NEX 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Vivo NEX 3 has greater battery performance than Microsoft Surface Duo, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3577mAh.
The vivo NEX 3 has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Duo, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the vivo NEX 3 also counts with a way higher 64 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a larger aperture to capture better photography and videos in poorly lited environments.
