The Motorola Edge 40 has an overall score of 77.2, which is slightly better than the vivo NEX 3's overall score of 73.9. Both phones in this comparison review include Android OS (operating system), but the Motorola Edge 40 has the older 13 version while vivo NEX 3 has Android 9.0 Pie. Motorola Edge 40's body is a lot newer, incredibly lighter and thinner than the vivo NEX 3.
Vivo NEX 3 has a much better performance than Motorola Edge 40. Both of them have a 8 GB RAM and 8 processing cores. Vivo NEX 3 has a little better battery duration than Motorola Edge 40, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 4400mAh. Vivo NEX 3 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Motorola Edge 40, because although it has a smaller sensor and a way smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the vivo NEX 3 also counts with a much higher resolution camera in the back.
