Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is better than vivo NEX 3, having a global score of 85.5 against 73.9. Although Samsung Galaxy A51 and vivo NEX 3 were released with only 3 months difference, Samsung Galaxy A51 is somewhat thinner and noticeably lighter. Both of these phones work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy A51 has the older 11 version and vivo NEX 3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
Samsung Galaxy A51 has a bit more vivid screen than vivo NEX 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bit better screen pixels density. The Samsung Galaxy A51 has a bit bigger memory for applications and games than vivo NEX 3, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD memory slot that allows up to 512 GB.
The vivo NEX 3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A51, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the vivo NEX 3 also has 4 GB more RAM. Vivo NEX 3 shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A51, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video quality, the vivo NEX 3 also has a much more mega pixels back facing camera, a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light images and video and a larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Vivo NEX 3 has just a bit better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy A51, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
