Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is better than vivo NEX 3, having a global score of 85 against 73.9. Even when the Galaxy M40 and vivo NEX 3 were released only a few months apart, the Galaxy M40 is incredibly lighter and thinner. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while vivo NEX 3 has Android 9.0 Pie.
The vivo NEX 3 features a bit superior processor than Galaxy M40, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the vivo NEX 3 also has a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy M40 features a bit sharper screen than vivo NEX 3, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a slightly higher 1080 x 2340 resolution.
Vivo NEX 3 captures better photographs and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the vivo NEX 3 also counts with a camera with a much better resolution and a lot bigger sensor.
Samsung Galaxy M40 has a little bit better storage to store more games and applications than vivo NEX 3, because although it has only 128 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The vivo NEX 3 counts with longer battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
