Huawei P40 Pro has an overall score of 88.2, which is much better than the vivo X50 Pro's 75.4 global score. Although it's the best in this comparison review, the Huawei P40 Pro design is heavier and just a little bit thicker than the vivo X50 Pro. Both of these devices come with the same Android 10 OS, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
The Huawei P40 Pro features a little better performance than vivo X50 Pro. Both of them have the same number of cores and the same RAM memory amount. The Huawei P40 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than vivo X50 Pro, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei P40 Pro also has a little higher 1200 x 2640 resolution and a quite higher count of pixels in each display inch.
The vivo X50 Pro features a very superior storage for games and applications than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has more internal memory capacity. The vivo X50 Pro has a little longer battery performance than Huawei P40 Pro, because it has a 3 percent bigger battery size. The Huawei P40 Pro features a better camera than vivo X50 Pro, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not good for taking images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P40 Pro also counts with a higher resolution back camera, better video frame rate and a way larger sensor.
