Comparison review
The Galaxy S20 is a lot better than vivo X50, having a general score of 94.8 against 73. Both devices in this comparison come with Android OS, but Galaxy S20 has newer 13 version and vivo X50 has Android 10 version. Even though Galaxy S20 and vivo X50 were released only 5 months apart, the Galaxy S20 body is a bit thicker but just a little lighter than vivo X50.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 has a bit sharper screen than vivo X50, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200px and a higher pixels count per screen inch. Galaxy S20 counts with a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than vivo X50, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy S20 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1000 GB.
Samsung Galaxy S20 counts with a little faster processor than vivo X50, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S20 also has more RAM memory. The vivo X50 has a bit better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S20, because it has a 4200mAh battery capacity. Vivo X50 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S20, because although it has a lot smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors, and they both have the same video definition, the vivo X50 also counts with a camera with much more megapixels, a bigger camera aperture to take better images in low-light situations and higher 30 fps video frame rates.
