Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a global score of 77.7, which is a little bit better than the vivo X50's score of 73. Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite's design has the same thickness than the vivo X50, but it's a bit lighter. Both of these phones have Android operating system, but the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has the newer 8.1 Oreo version and vivo X50 has Android 10 version, so it provides the user some additional features.
Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and vivo X50 both feature really similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite greater screen density. The vivo X50 counts with a bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, and although they both have the same number of cores, the vivo X50 also has 2 GB more RAM.
The vivo X50 shoots much better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite, because although it has a smaller sensor which provides a lower image and video quality, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the vivo X50 also counts with a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and video and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
