The Samsung Galaxy A42 is better than the vivo X60 Pro, with a score of 87 against 78.8. Despite being the best phone in this comparison, we must highlight that it's also a somewhat thicker and a little heavier phone. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 11 operating system, so you shouldn't perceive any differences in that aspect.
The vivo X60 Pro counts with a more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the vivo X60 Pro also has more pixels per display inch and a way better 1080 x 2376 resolution. The vivo X60 Pro features a little faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the vivo X60 Pro also has 8 GB more RAM memory.
Galaxy A42 counts with a better memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than vivo X60 Pro, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1000 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A42 has superior battery lifetime than vivo X60 Pro, because it has a 19 percent more battery capacity.
Vivo X60 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy A42, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same camera aperture, the vivo X60 Pro also has faster 60 frames per second video frame rates.
