Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei P smart S has the older 10 version while vivo X80 Pro has Android 12. The Huawei P smart S design is thinner and incredibly lighter than vivo X80 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Vivo X80 Pro has a better screen than Huawei P smart S, because it has a bit higher screen density, a higher 1440 x 3200px resolution and a quite bigger display. Vivo X80 Pro has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Huawei P smart S, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Huawei P smart S features a much greater hardware performance than vivo X80 Pro, although it has 8 GB less RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Vivo X80 Pro features longer battery life than Huawei P smart S, because it has a 4700mAh battery capacity. The vivo X80 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Huawei P smart S, because it has a bigger aperture for better low-light images and videos and a back camera with a higher resolution.
