The Galaxy S7 edge is a little bit better than the vivo X80 Pro, having a score of 78.1 against 72.6. Galaxy S7 edge is an noticeably older phone than the vivo X80 Pro, but it's a lot lighter and thinner anyway. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S7 edge has the newer 8.0 Oreo version while vivo X80 Pro has Android 12 version.
Galaxy S7 edge counts with a much greater hardware performance than vivo X80 Pro, although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM. The vivo X80 Pro counts with a much better looking screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a just a little lower display pixels density, it also counts with a larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
The vivo X80 Pro shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a bigger aperture, a camera in the back with lot more mega pixels, a way better 7680x4320 video resolution and a way bigger camera sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality. The vivo X80 Pro features a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory.
The vivo X80 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Galaxy S7 edge, because it has a 31 percent greater battery size.
