Comparison review
The Galaxy M31s is much better than Xiaomi 12 Pro, having an 88 score against 79.6. Galaxy M31s's design is a bit lighter than the Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it is thicker and was released about 17 months before. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy M31s has an older 11 version while Xiaomi 12 Pro has Android 12 version.
Samsung Galaxy M31s has an extremely better processing unit than Xiaomi 12 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 12 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy M31s, because it has a little larger display, more pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels.
The Galaxy M31s has much more storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12 Pro, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy M31s also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy M31s has superior battery life than Xiaomi 12 Pro, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
The Xiaomi 12 Pro captures just a bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy M31s, because although it has a camera with way less megapixels and a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality pictures and videos and a lot better video definition.
