Xiaomi 12 has a score of 78.8, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20's overall score of 78.1. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but the Xiaomi 12 has an older 12 version while Huawei P20 has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Xiaomi 12 design is newer than Huawei P20's, but it's a little thicker and just a little bit heavier.
The Huawei P20 counts with a lot better performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Xiaomi 12 features a slightly better display than Huawei P20, because although it has a bit less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a quite bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
Xiaomi 12 features a lot better camera than Huawei P20, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, it also counts with a much better 7680x4320 video resolution, a camera in the back with much more mega pixels and a lot bigger sensor providing a lot higher image quality. The Huawei P20 counts with as much memory capacity to install applications and games as the Xiaomi 12 one, both of them have the same 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi 12 has greater battery life than Huawei P20, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 3400mAh.
