Comparison review
Galaxy M31s is much better than Xiaomi 12, getting an 88 score against 78.8. Both devices we are comparing come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M31s has the previous 11 version and Xiaomi 12 has Android 12 version. Despite being the best we compare here, Galaxy M31s's design is older, somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi 12.
Xiaomi 12 features a bit better display than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1080 x 2400px resolution, the Xiaomi 12 also counts with a little greater screen density. The Samsung Galaxy M31s counts with a way bigger storage to install games and applications than Xiaomi 12, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy M31s also has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy M31s counts with a really superior performance than Xiaomi 12, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. Xiaomi 12 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy M31s, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for capturing pictures or video in low-light environments and a much lower 50 megapixels resolution back facing camera, it also counts with a way higher 7680x4320 video quality and a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality.
The Galaxy M31s counts with improved battery performance than Xiaomi 12, because it has a 33 percent greater battery capacity.
