Galaxy A12 is much better than Xiaomi 12S, getting a overall score of 80.3 against 72.9. Both of these phones have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy A12 has an older 10 version and Xiaomi 12S has Android 12 version. The Samsung Galaxy A12 counts with a much more powerful processor than Xiaomi 12S, although it has 4 GB less RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
