Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a score of 84.2, which is a bit better than the Xiaomi 12S Ultra's score of 81. Both devices in this review work with Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the newer 14 version and Xiaomi 12S Ultra has Android 12, offering some nice extra features and better performance.
Xiaomi 12S Ultra counts with a little more vivid display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display and way less brightness, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels and a better count of pixels per screen inch. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, because it has 512 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has 8 GB more RAM memory. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and although they both have the same 24 frames per second video frame rate, the same video quality and the same resolution back camera, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a bigger aperture and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi 12S Ultra, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
