Comparison review
The Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is slightly better than Xiaomi 12T's 75.5 overall score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 12T has Android 12, so it provides a couple additional features and performance improvements. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy A8 Star is a lot older than the Xiaomi 12T, it's body is just a little lighter and thinner.
The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a really superior hardware performance than Xiaomi 12T, although it has 2 GB less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Galaxy A8 Star has a bit more vivid screen than Xiaomi 12T, although it has a little less pixels per inch of screen, a quite smaller screen and a little bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2220.
Xiaomi 12T shoots much better photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, and although they both have the same aperture, the Xiaomi 12T also has a lot bigger sensor shooting way higher quality pictures and videos and a lot higher resolution back facing camera. Galaxy A8 Star has more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 12T, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with an external SD slot that admits up to 400 GB.
Xiaomi 12T features improved battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 35 percent greater battery size.
