Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi 15 Pro's global score of 81.3. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is an older, just a bit thicker and a little heavier cellphone than Xiaomi 15 Pro. Both devices in this review have the same Android 14 OS, so both of them should count with very similar operating system features.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro features a brighter screen than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, and although they both have a same size display, the Xiaomi 15 Pro also has a better resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, more display brightness and more pixels per inch of display. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little better processing power than Xiaomi 15 Pro, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi 15 Pro, because it has 256 GB more internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots a little bit better videos and photos than Xiaomi 15 Pro, although it has a much smaller camera aperture which is not so good for low light photography and video, they both have a camera with a 50 MP, the same video resolution and the same 24 frames per second video frame rates.
The Xiaomi 15 Pro counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because it has an 11 percent larger battery size.
