Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than Xiaomi 15, having a global score of 84.2 against 80.6. Both of these devices use the same Android 14 OS (operating system), so they should offer identical OS features. Despite being the best phone in this comparison, it must be told that it is also an older, just a bit thicker and heavier phone.
Xiaomi 15 counts with a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit more pixels per inch of display, a slightly better 1200 x 2670 pixels resolution and more screen brightness. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi 15, because it has 512 GB internal memory capacity.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features just a bit better processing power than Xiaomi 15, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a little better battery lifetime than Xiaomi 15, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 5400mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures clearer videos and photos than Xiaomi 15, although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for taking photos and video in low-light environments and lower video frame rate, they both have the same video resolution and a camera with a 50 MP resolution.
