Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi 15's global score of 80.6. Both phones we are comparing here work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi 15 has Android 14 version. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is an extremely older and a bit heavier device than the Xiaomi 15, but Samsung managed to make it a little bit thinner anyway.
Galaxy A8 Star features a very superior CPU than Xiaomi 15, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores. The Xiaomi 15 counts with a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a bit higher 1200 x 2670 pixels resolution, a little bit bigger display and a just a bit better pixel density.
Xiaomi 15 has a much better camera than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a lot higher 50 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, a way better video resolution and a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in low light situations. Xiaomi 15 has a quite bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi 15 features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A8 Star, because it has a 46 percent larger battery capacity.
