Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is just a bit better than the Motorola Edge 50, getting a overall score of 82.3 against 81.2. Despite being the best in our current comparison, it must be told that it's also noticeably older, somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker. Both phones in this review use Android OS, but the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has 10 version while Motorola Edge 50 has Android 14 version.
Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a much faster processing unit than Motorola Edge 50. Both have 8 GB of RAM memory and a Octa-Core processor. Motorola Edge 50 features a sharper display than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1220 x 2712px, a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a bit bigger screen and way more brightness.
The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a bit better camera than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the same aperture and the same video quality, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a higher resolution back facing camera and a way bigger camera sensor taking lot better quality photographs and videos.
The Motorola Edge 50 counts with a much greater memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has 256 GB internal memory. Motorola Edge 50 counts with better battery duration than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
