Comparison review
The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 has a general score of 82.3, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia 5's general score of 81. The Xiaomi Black Shark 2 is an a bit thicker and much heavier phone than the Sony Xperia 5. Xperia 5 features a display that is very similar to Xiaomi Black Shark 2's screen, because although the Xperia 5 has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit better screen density and a slightly better 1080 x 2520 resolution.
Xperia 5 and Xiaomi Black Shark 2 both have quite similar processing units, and although the Xperia 5 has lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with a much better camera than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot larger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photographs.
The Sony Xperia 5 has a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 2, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia 5 also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark 2 counts with improved battery life than Sony Xperia 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3140mAh.
