The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy Note9, having an 88.3 score against 87.1. The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 construction is way newer than Samsung Galaxy Note9's, although it's thicker and just a little bit heavier. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a bit sharper display than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a little lower screen density and a way worse resolution of 1080 x 2400, it also counts with a little bit bigger screen.

The Galaxy Note9 counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 4, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy Note9 also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark 4 features a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note9, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 takes much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light photos and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Black Shark 4 also counts with a camera with a much higher resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing way better quality photographs and videos.

The Xiaomi Black Shark 4 counts with a little longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note9, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 4000mAh.

Although Xiaomi Black Shark 4 is a better device, it costs a little more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note9. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Xiaomi Black Shark 4, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note9, letting go a couple specifications.
