Comparison review
Xperia 5 is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, getting a overall score of 81 against 78.7. Xperia 5's body is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, despite of the fact that it was released 3 years before. Xperia 5 features a very superior processing power than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
The Xperia 5 has a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density and a quite better 1080 x 2520 resolution. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro shoots way better videos and photos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors and a smaller aperture which is not recommended for shooting images in low light environments, and they both have the same video quality, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro also counts with better 60 fps video frame rates and a camera in the back with a lot higher resolution.
Xperia 5 features just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro, because although it has just 128 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB. Xiaomi Black Shark 5 Pro features a superior battery performance than Xperia 5, because it has a 4650mAh battery size.
