Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Black Shark, getting an 84.2 score against 80.4. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's body is a lot newer and just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Black Shark's, although it's also somewhat heavier. Both devices in our current comparison use Android OS, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has the previous 14 version and Xiaomi Black Shark has Android 9.0 Pie version.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a just a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px, a bit larger display and a lot brighter screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has 384 GB more internal memory capacity.
The Xiaomi Black Shark counts with a very superior processing power than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures way better photos and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for capturing photographs or videos in low light situations, it also counts with a much higher 7680x4320 video resolution, a way larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a much better image and video quality and a way higher 50 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much longer battery performance than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 38% bigger battery capacity.
