Comparison review
Xiaomi Black Shark has a general score of 80.4, which is a bit better than OnePlus 8's 76 overall score. The Xiaomi Black Shark body is way older, somewhat thicker and just a bit heavier than OnePlus 8. OnePlus 8 has a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a lot brighter display, a bit higher screen pixels density, a quite bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Black Shark feature similar storage to store more apps and games, they have equal 128 GB internal memory. OnePlus 8 and Xiaomi Black Shark count with very similar CPUs, both of them have 8 cores and a 8 GB RAM. OnePlus 8 captures much better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Black Shark, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and a same size camera aperture, the OnePlus 8 also has a way bigger back-facing camera sensor, a much more mega pixels camera in the back and higher video frame rate.
The OnePlus 8 counts with just a little better battery life than Xiaomi Black Shark, because it has a 4300mAh battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
