HTC One M9 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi-3, with a overall score of 77.7 against 71.6. Even being the best in this review, HTC One M9's body is thicker and a bit heavier than Xiaomi Mi-3. Both of these phones use Android OS (Operating System), but the HTC One M9 has the newer 5.0 version while Xiaomi Mi-3 has Android 4.4.2.
The HTC One M9 has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Mi-3. Both of them have a display with the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1920 x 1080px and the same amount of pixels in each inch in the display. HTC One M9 counts with a little bit better performance than Xiaomi Mi-3, because it has more processing cores , a much better GPU, a 64-bit processing unit and a larger amount of RAM memory.
The HTC One M9 has a slightly bigger storage to store more apps and games than Xiaomi Mi-3, because although it has 0 less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. Xiaomi Mi-3 has just a bit longer battery duration than HTC One M9, because it has 3050mAh of battery capacity instead of 2840mAh.
The HTC One M9 captures much better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have a same size aperture, the HTC One M9 also has a way better (4K) video resolution and a camera in the back with a lot better resolution.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the HTC One M9 is also a lot cheaper, making this phone a great choice.
