The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is much better than Xiaomi Mi-3, having an 80.4 score against 71.6. Galaxy Note Fan Edition's design is somewhat heavier but a bit thinner than the Xiaomi Mi-3. Xiaomi Mi-3 counts with a bit better display than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a just a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller display.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi-3, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a SD card slot that allows up to 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Mi-3 and the Galaxy Note Fan Edition have incredibly similar CPUs, because although the Galaxy Note Fan Edition has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a higher number of cores. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi-3, because although it has a back-facing camera with a lower resolution, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 video resolution and a lot bigger diafragm aperture for better low light captures and videos.
Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi-3, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity against 3050mAh.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi-3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi-3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note Fan Edition, else you can save some dollars and get the Xiaomi Mi-3, letting go a couple features and specs.
