Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a global score of 84.2, which is much better than Xiaomi Mi 4's 75.2 general score. Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has older 14 version while Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3 version. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's design has the same thickness than Xiaomi Mi 4, but it's noticeably heavier.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a just a little lower display density, it also counts with a really bigger screen and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 512 GB internal storage.
Xiaomi Mi 4 has an extremely better processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has 13 GB lesser RAM memory and 4 lesser processing cores (although faster), it also counts with a graphics processor. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a greater camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a tinier aperture, it also counts with a lot larger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors, a much better video quality and a back-facing camera with a way better resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better battery life than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.
