Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a global score of 82.1, which is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 4's global score of 75.2. The Samsung Galaxy A8 Star is a noticeably newer and somewhat thinner cellphone than Xiaomi Mi 4, but it's a lot heavier. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has newer 9.0 Pie version while Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3 version, providing the user some nice extra features and improved performance.
Xiaomi Mi 4 has a bit superior CPU than Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a much better screen than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a way smaller screen and a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px, it also counts with a bit better screen pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy A8 Star has a superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy A8 Star also has a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB. Galaxy A8 Star has a bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Galaxy A8 Star also has a bigger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with more MP and a bigger diafragm aperture.
Galaxy A8 Star counts with improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3080mAh.
