Comparison review
Xperia 5 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 4, having an 81 score against 75.2. Although the Xperia 5 is a little heavier than Xiaomi Mi 4, it's just a bit thinner and also a lot newer. The Xiaomi Mi 4 counts with a bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia 5, although it has a little bit inferior amount of pixels per inch in the display, a little bit worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a little bit smaller display.
Sony Xperia 5 features a little faster CPU than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. Xperia 5 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has an external memory slot that admits up to 512 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Sony Xperia 5 counts with just a little bit longer battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 3140mAh of battery capacity. Xperia 5 features a camera that's just as good as the camera in Xiaomi Mi 4, because although the Xperia 5 has a lower (4K) video quality and a camera with a lower 12 megapixels resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor which provides a higher photo and video quality and a larger aperture for better low light captures and video.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 4, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Mi 4. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xiaomi Mi 4, letting go some specs and features.
