Comparison review
Sony Xperia XZ2 is just a bit better than Xiaomi Mi 4, getting a global score of 79.1 against 75.2. Although Sony Xperia XZ2 is notably newer than Xiaomi Mi 4, it is a lot thicker and much heavier. Sony Xperia XZ2 counts with a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 4 more cpu cores and a larger amount of RAM.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a bit better display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a bit smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher display pixel density. Xperia XZ2 shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for capturing photographs and video in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia XZ2 also counts with higher video frame rates, a back facing camera with a lot better 19 megapixels resolution and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xperia XZ2 features a very superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZ2 also has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2 has a little better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 3180mAh of battery capacity.
