Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is much better than Xiaomi Mi 4, getting an 81.6 score against 72.5. Samsung Galaxy Note 4's body is a little bit thinner but somewhat heavier than the Xiaomi Mi 4, and both of them were released with only 1 months difference. Both phones in this review come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has newer 5.0 version and Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3, so it gives a couple additional features and increased performance.
Galaxy Note 4 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same number of cores and 3 GB of RAM, the Galaxy Note 4 also has a faster 500 megahertz graphics co-processor. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a little sharper screen than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a little greater screen pixel density, a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a little bit larger screen.
Galaxy Note 4 counts with a slightly better camera than Xiaomi Mi 4, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 4 also counts with a bigger camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a back facing camera with a better 16 mega pixels resolution.
The Galaxy Note 4 features a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy Note 4 counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has a 3220mAh battery size instead of 3080mAh.
Galaxy Note 4 is a little more expensive than Xiaomi Mi 4, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a lot more for that extra money.
