Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a general score of 79, which is slightly better than Xiaomi Mi 4's 72.5 overall score. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a a lot heavier cellphone than the Xiaomi Mi 4, but both have the same thickness. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has the older 11 version while Xiaomi Mi 4 has Android 4.4.3.
The Xiaomi Mi 4 has a little faster processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a lower number of cores and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processing unit. Xiaomi Mi 4 has a better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a really smaller screen and a little worse 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 4, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate, a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a much bigger sensor capturing way better quality photos and videos and a much better 48 megapixels resolution back camera.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has much more memory capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a superior battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 4, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 3080mAh.
Despite of being the best phone in our comparison, Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is also by far the cheapest one.
