The Huawei Mate 9 Pro has an overall score of 78.7, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Mi 5's 73.7 general score. The Xiaomi Mi 5 features a bit superior processing unit than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has 4 less cores (although they are faster) and 3 GB less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor.
The Xiaomi Mi 5 has a bit better looking screen than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, because although it has a little smaller screen, and they both have the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Xiaomi Mi 5 also counts with a bit better pixels count per inch in the screen. The Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 64 GB more internal memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a better camera than Xiaomi Mi 5, although it has a back-facing camera with lot less MP and a smaller diafragm aperture. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a bit better battery performance than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
