Comparison review
The Huawei Mate X is a lot better than Xiaomi Mi 5, with an 89.4 score against 73.7. Huawei Mate X's CPU is just as good as Xiaomi Mi 5's processing unit, because although the Huawei Mate X has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory and more processing cores.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a sharper screen than Huawei Mate X, because although it has a bit lower resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels quantity per inch in the screen. Huawei Mate X has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has 448 GB more internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate X features improved battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5, because it has a 25% larger battery capacity. The Huawei Mate X shoots a bit better photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate X also has a way better 40 MP resolution back-facing camera.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xiaomi Mi 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 5. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xiaomi Mi 5, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your savings.
